Adjustable Swivel Base
Seahorse® Swivel Base rotates a complete 360° circle of rotation and locks in 36 different positions allowing the user to pick virtually any angle for the downrigger. This feature provides effortless re-positioning of the downrigger boom inboard for rigging, docking or towing.

FOR PENN AND SEAHORSE DOWNRIGGERS
The rectangular mounting plate kit used on the Penn and Seahorse downriggers is needed. If you already have the plate and mounting hardware and wish to re-use them, just leave the plate kit option below unchecked. If you don't have the plate and mounting hardware, check it off and both items will add to the cart together.
FOR CANNON DOWNRIGGERS
The rectangular mounting plate used on the Penn downriggers is NOT required for Canon downriggers, so leave the optional box below unchecked.
Installation Instructions
Carefully select the location of the swivel base on your boat. Make sure that you have enough swing clearance for proper operation. Use the swivel base cover as a template to mark the holes to be drilled. Make sure that the hole pattern is positioned so that you will have enough clearance and reach to install the mounting hardware (provided).
The swivel base comes pre-assembled. Note the oval shaped hole on the swivel base top. The oval hole provides access to each of the four mounting screws.
- Unlock the base by turning the finned lock release ring counter-clockwise.
- Turn the swivel top until the oval mounting hole is above the mounting screw.
- Secure the screw without over tightening.
Repeat steps 1-3 for all remaining screws.
After the base is installed select appropriate cover plate and the mounting plate for your downrigger.
Note: The mounting plate bolts should not exceed 1/2 inch depth into the swivel base top.
- Use the cover plate with square 2 ½ x 2 ½ inch mounting pattern for Cannon© downrigger installation.
- Use the cover plate with square 2 ⅜ x 3 ½ inch mounting pattern for Penn© downrigger installation.
Warranty
Troll-Master Inc warrants to the original purchaser any defect in material or workmanship for the period of 10 years since the date of the original retail purchase. Troll Master Inc will either repair or replace the product free of charge.
