How to order these items, if interested in converting 112H to 112H2
- FIRST choose either ordering the complete bridge or just replacing the gear sleeve.
- SECOND Handle type MUST match the gear sleeve, Original 112H handle cannot fit on the 112H2 stud due to differences in design.
- THIRD select either just changing the clamp studs if you already have a clamp kit, or order the kit if you don't.
- NOTE: You also have the option of order a pair of new, clean 37-65 posts if you want the conversion to look complete, based on the condition of your current posts.
I put together these conversion notes because a couple of people asked about it, but it is far more practical just to order a new 112H2 reel complete.
Gear speed on both reels is 4:1, so at this time I haven't done a part to part
comparison of doing a gear to yoke change.
If you like the newer style handle, you could put one on the 112H without changing completely.
You'd need the 112H2 handle, handle lock cap, cap screw, handle nut screw and the
bridge or gear sleeve (depending on availability) from the list above.
