See Image to Right If you have the older parts as shown to the left of the photo and need to replace either the drive plate, drag washer or pinion gear, you will need to get both the newer 117DN drive plate (with drag built in) and the newer pinion gear (either 13-30 or 13-20 depending on the reel model). The older parts are not compatible with the newer ones. |

This 117-30 plate below is used with the 6A-30 washer/plate, along with the current 13-30 or 13-20 pinion gears. It was a design in between the older style parts and the new complete drive plate assembly.
