REEL INFO:
Penn International® fly reels feature a one piece frame and spool machined form the highest grade solid bar stock marine aluminum. For corrosion resistance and that unmistakable International® appearance, each reel recieves a gleaming gold or black anodized finish.
HISTORY:
The Tournament Series was first manufactured and sold in the 1967. It started with only 4, but by the end of the 70's the series had grown to 10 different models. Construction:
A stainless steel spindle.
Three aircraft quality stainless steel ball bearings.
Bronze double dogs to stand up to jarring strikes and runs.
A machined aluminum reel stand with special stabilizing bar.
Comfortable handsome hardwood knobs.
A single, direct drive action.
Can be easily converted from right to left hand drive.
