NOTES ON DESIGN CHANGE:
EARLY MODELS of SV4000 used a different gear number 231-4000SV with small hole and no setting for the bearing.
NEWER MODELS use THIS 231-4000CV gear which has a space in it to hold the 231A-4000CV ball bearing. If you have the original crosswind gear with small hole and no bearing in the middle, and want to change over to the newer crosswind gear setup, you will need to order both the 231-4000CV gear and the 231A-4000CV bearing.

If you do not find what you are looking for do a Google search with Mystic Reel Parts in the search with your model. I have a Penn 285 and 9 and it took me to the exact page for both. Also have the reel schematics.

I luckily found MysticParts via a Google search. Their website is comprehensive and I was at a loss on what I needed. Fortunately the “contact us” option was user friendly. To my delight I got a personalized and VERY helpful response right away. She asked questions to fully understand my needs and then followed up with links to the right parts.
