REPLACES ORIGINAL NUMBERS 15-5000CV, 15-6000CV, 15-5000CLL AND 15N-6000CV ON SOME REELS
NOTE: DESIGN CHANGE ON THE HANDLES FOR THESE CAPTIVA REELS.
The Original handle (had a push button on it's side to fold it down) used a different cap setup where the cap 233- and 15B- screw were separate pieces.
The Newer handle folds down by partially unscrewing the handle. It's cap 233N-with the screw attached is NOT compatible with the old handle, only with the newer style. You will also need to order the washer 233A- that goes with the cap if you are replace the older style handle with the new one (or have lost the washer).
See the schematics in our site here for your reel model for the correct part numbers for either style.
IMPORTANT!
15N-5000CV and 15-5000CLL requires different parts for the bearing cap setup:
233A-2000CV Handle Bearing Washer (Newer Style Handle)
233N-2000CV Bearing Cover with Attached Screw (Newer Style Handle)
15A-5000CV Handle Retaining Bushing
If you are changing over from the old style handle part number 15-5000CV or
15-5000CLL
you will also need those parts.
