Powergraph V Series Line Roller/Bearing Design Change

IMPORTANT CHANGE FOR Powergraph V Reels Models: VPG1000, VPG1500 and VPG2000

Differences in the line roller between what was released in original run and what is available as replacement parts.

Original Parts: These reels came from the factory with 35-1000V line roller and 35A-1000V ball bearing as shown outlined in red in the photo above. The 35-1000V line roller is NOT available. The 35A-1000V has consistantly come from Penn as a black bushing rather than a ball bearing, but the bushing DOES fit in the original line roller.

Replacement Parts: The 35-1000 Line roller can be used instead of the 35-1000V. It has a slightly smaller inside diameter, so it can use either the 35A-8500J ball bearing or the 35A-1000 white bushing, as shown in the photo above.

• If you are replacing the original line roller - you would need to order either 35-1000 with 35A-8500J ball bearing, or 35-1000 with 35A-1000 bushing, depending on whether you want the expense of the ball bearing or not.
• If you have the original line roller but want to replace a bad ball bearing - you would need to order either 35-1000 with 35A-8500J ball bearing, or just order the 35A-1000V black bushing, depending on whether you want the expense of the ball bearing or not.
