IMPORTANT NOTES REGARDING OLDER BUTTONS/PLATES!
Look at your button type!!!
On older 113 reels a 36-60CH may be required. It measures .248 (roughly 1/4 inch) from just under the cap to the edge of the dropdown. Take note that the button head is smaller on the older 36-60CH and it is peened into the plate to hold it together (ie: it does not use a c-clip).
The 36-113 measures .479 (roughly 1/8 inch longer) Penn changed the 27-113 plate at some point, although there were no notes to that effect. The newer plate with the newer button uses a c-clip to hold the button in place, and the button has a slot cut in it for that clip.
