BOTH gears would have to be changed to the matching set if using the Pursuit parts.
Kit Contains:1203969 ~ 8-3000PUR Main Gear 1203972 ~ 19-3000PUR Pinion Gear
CAN BE REPLACED BY PART NUMBER 19-3000PURSP
If either SG gear is not available, the 8-3000SG main and 19-3000SG pinion gears can be subbed to the Pursuit gears, using the 19-3000PURSP Kit.BOTH gears would have to be changed to the matching set if using the Pursuit parts.
Kit Contains:
Both the pinion gear and the main gear have to be changed for the reels to work.
Cannot interchange new and old pieces together.
PLEASE NOTE:
This is just a substitute to use if the SG gears are NOT available.
They work, but not as well, the SG stock gears are a better fit:
